    • Good for you aardvarkin. I was about to quite simply say it the way I heard it as a child. Money is the root of all evil. But you’re right. It is the love and not just simply the money. You made me remember someone pointing out the difference.

      Many people in the US know the truncated version of the bible verse, not the full one. Good on both of you.

  2. I spent the day volunteering at the Community Center and the evening pulling down an overgrown Passion Flower vine whose fruit seems to be attracting furry critters from the creek, etc. behind us (and I don’t mean squirrels. 😦 ) So I have an excuse (s) for not being here earlier.
